To design and manage salary structure

Procedure

Salary Structure is used to create the total of all compensations (Earnings and Deductions) a business must pay to its employee for a set period of time (payroll cycle) or on a given date.

• Select the Job Position from the drop-down list
• Define and allocate Pay Elements beforehand in Salary Setup
• Basic Salary is defined against the Job Position in Salary Setup
• Enter the amount of Monthly Earnings (Pay elements to pay/add in employee's payroll)
• Enter the amount of Monthly Deductions (Pay elements to deduct from employee's payroll)
• Click Update to update Salary Structure

What is the purpose of Monthly Deductions?

Suppose, the company has provided residence to an employee which is not complimentary. Now, the company can Deduct the charges from his payroll by deducting it from salary structure
